Cousins!! Please join us in sending our immediate prayers to singer and songwriter Kehlani as she shares that she was sexually assaulted at a recently held show in UK!

The songstress took to her verified instagram in a shared story post in a statement that read, “i’ve made video after video after video and deleted it because i don’t want any video of me as angry, triggered, crying upset as i am anywhere.”

Kehlani continued in saying,”I don’t care how sexual you deem my music, my performances, my fun with my friends dancing at clubs, or ME….”

“that does not give any of you the right to cross a boundary like sticking your hands up my skirt & pulling my underwear to TOUCH TO MY GENITALS as i am being escorted through a crowd after performing.”

According to PageSix the incident took place at O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, England. Kehlani stated that the vile incident made her sick to her stomach, “as a victim of sexual assault, i am endlessly triggered and mindblown.”

Fans immediately poured in with love and support following the release of Kehlani’s statement.

“Wish I could hug kehlani rn. glad they are speaking up and setting that boundary between them and their audience. just wish it was common decency to respect people,”reads a tweet from one social media user.

“We love you kehlani! and I’m glad she’s doing okay and surrounded by a strong support system after what happened,” said another social media user sending the 27 year old love.

“Whoever sexually assaulted kehlani last night deserves to be thrown in jail because to put her back in that mind set again after being a survivor once is so heartbreaking,” wrote a social media user on Twitter referring to Kehlani sharing she was previously sexually assaulted within her life.
