Cousins!
Don’t we just love a man that is true to his word? Well Grammy award winning rapper Lil Baby is sticking to his!
The Harder Than Ever and Something to Prove rapper announced that he will collaborate with business owner Lemont Bradley in Atlanta to help hire 100 people under the age of 21.
“We are looking to give out 100 jobs to teenagers and young adults in the metro Atlanta area,” said both Lil Baby and Bradley. “With the crime rate surrounding scams, robbery, and even murder being so high, we are looking to provide a positive outlet and revenue stream to those who are looking for an income,” reads an obtained statement by CBS46.
Lil Baby and Lemont have been friends for some time now and are now working together to help build youth and make a positive impact in their hometown Atlanta, Georgia. With so much crime and violence within the communities of the world, these men hope to make change in their community.
Both Lil Baby and Lemont have hopes to build the economy. Beyond the music, they plan on creating a lawn care business. Lemont has several other ventures in which he is searching for new prospects, he has two celebrity famed car washes and a new restaurant called Clutch Restaurant. The positions available are car washers, tinters, bartenders, waiters, cooks and dishwashers.
Oftentimes you see and hear about rappers reaching a pivotal level in their careers and not lending a helping hand for the youth in their hometowns, but we see this upcoming project will make our youth more proactive with resources presented to them beyond what we hear in rap music. It is in fact okay to get a “9 to 5” and to work and get money the honest way.
