Day N Vegas, a three-day hip-hop and R&B festival, announced it is canceling its 2022 show following lack of ticket sales!

“We’re sorry to announce that a combination of logistics, timing and production issues have forced us to cancel Day N Vegas for 2022,” read a statement from the event’s Twitter account.

The concert’s team assured ticket holders that “the refund process will begin immediately”. Tickets purchased with credit cards will be refunded to the account used for the transaction, with the full amount expected to be processed within two to four weeks. Customers that bought festival passes through AXS, and have questions about their individual process, can reach out to AXS’ support service here.

The line-up for Day N Vegas 2022 was announced in June, and was set to have Travis Scott as one of its three headliners, alongside SZA and J. Cole. If the event had gone forward, it would have been Scott’s first live performance for a public festival crowd since the Astroworld tragedy of November 2021, where 10 people died and hundreds more were injured in a crowd surge that occurred during the rapper’s performing set.

Scott was initially set to perform at Day N Vegas 2021, but withdrew from the line-up following the Astroworld incident. Day N Vegas 2022 was scheduled from September 2-4 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. Other notable acts that were due to appear were Playboi Carti, Summer Walker, Trippie Redd, 21 Savage, H.E.R., Baby Keem, Jhené Aiko and Pusha T.

Last year’s festival had headliners such as Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, the Creator, while SZA, Saweetie, Doja Cat, Lil Baby, Polo G, Ari Lennox, Thundercat, Kenny Beats, and Baby Keem also hit the stage. The show marked K-Dot’s return to the stage after the Damn period.

There’s no word when or if the Concert will have a reschedule date for the near future.
