It’s a Wrap! ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’ to End With Season 5 — Shameik Moore Tapped to Join Final Chapter!

Say it ain’t so! After four gripping seasons of betrayal, bloodlines, and the birth of a street legend, Power Book III: Raising Kanan is officially coming to a close.

📺 Starz confirmed that the hit prequel series will end with its upcoming fifth season, staying true to the original five-season plan laid out by showrunner Sascha Penn. “We had a vision for Kanan’s journey—and this is exactly how we wanted to close his chapter,” Penn said in a statement.

🔥 But the finale isn’t rolling out quietly. In a major casting move, actor Shameik Moore has joined the final season as Breeze, a fan-favorite character long speculated about in Power lore. Breeze is the elusive mentor who helped mold a young Kanan Stark—and eventually Ghost and Tommy—into the drug game’s most dangerous trifecta.

👑 Moore, best known for voicing Miles Morales in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, is set to bring new energy (and likely chaos) to the streets of Southside Jamaica, Queens. “Breeze is a pivotal figure in the Power universe,” producers teased. “This is the chapter that sets the tone for everything that came after.”

🎥 Production for the final season has already wrapped, though an official premiere date has yet to be announced. However, if history is any indicator, fans can likely expect Season 5 to premiere sometime in early 2026.

📲 Until then, fans can catch up on all episodes of Raising Kanan streaming now on Starz and other platforms like Hulu and Amazon Prime Video with the Starz add-on.

Let’s be real—this is the end of an era. But if Kanan’s taught us anything, it’s that nothing in the Power universe ever really stays buried.
