Television personality NeNe Leakes and ‘Watch What Happens Live’ host Andy Cohen have reached a rough patch in their closeness that has caused them to take legal action!

The former ‘Real  Housewife’ reality television star claims that Andy has said some hastily racial comments to her that she wants justified. Back in April 2022, NeNe filed a discrimination suit against Andy along with Bravo TV Network, NBC Universal and True Original. She claims that the networks were condoning racism and that the environment was a racist environment for her. 

In response Andy says he wants the lawsuit handled privately. He does not want NeNe to discuss the their legal battles  publicly but instead wants to negotiate things between the two. He has since been silent about the details in the court case.

On the other hand, NeNe has been very open about it. Even so, she claims she is “blacklisted” due to not being able to work with the networks as she has before. Even with a strong fanbase, some fans still support her. Meanwhile, some online users as well as castmates believe she is filing a lawsuit because she was removed from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

NeNe appeared on the Bravo reality Tv series The Real Housewives of Atlanta as a fan favorite and gained popularity for her witty comments and major clap backs with castmates. 

According to People Magazine, NeNe gained prominence in 2008 when the show first aired. She has gained in her career as an actress, appearing in The Celebrity Apprentice 4, Dancing with the Stars, Glee, and other television appearances. Nene also owns Linnethia Lounge and is currently starring in BET’s College Hill Celebrity Edition which airs 11 p.m. on Sunday’s.
