The ‘Wendy Williams Show’ has successfully aired on television for the last 13 years. Celebrated amongst millions of fans as the self-proclaimed Queen of daytime talk shows, shared and spilled “tea” across the industry.

Earlier this week fans of the daytime series took to social media speaking on no longer being able to watch content from the show on YouTube or even on social media. It has been confirmed that the show’s entire YouTube channel has been deleted. It doesn’t end there though, as it’s been confirmed that  Wendy Williams Show’s website and Instagram has also been removed.

The Hot Topics” legendary daytime host has other plans in mind though. While Wendy won’t be returning to TV anytime soon, she has revealed that she will be creating a podcast.

“I’ve got enough money to do something else, and what I’ve never done — podcast,” she said. “Which, by the way, podcasts, everyone has. But when you’re famous, podcasts will make more money for me, being famous, than doing The Wendy Williams Show “, says Wendy to TMZ previously.

Beginning her career as a young lady in the entertainment business, hosting, and working at radio stations making a name for herself, Wendy has ultimately become an iconic household name.

According to the Washington Post, a shift in her career began in 2021 following reports of an ongoing health issue. Wendy was then placed under a financial guardianship after a Wells Fargo petition alleged that she had been a “victim of undue influence and financial exploitation”

Wendy has since then, publicly motioned that she is aware and is of sound mind and doesn’t need guardianship. In the last year when she went out on leave, there were a multitude of guests hosting her show awaiting her return. Unfortunately that did not happen, she was not present at all for the 14th season of her series and has been replaced by Sherri Shepherd instead.

The Washington Post also states that some of Wendy’s staff watched teary eyed as Sherri thanked the production crew and the loyal viewers. Sherri even expressed her gratitude within the final episode by saying  “Most of all, we have to thank you, Wendy Williams. There is nobody, nobody, like Wendy Williams. From her days on the radio to ruling daytime talk for 13 seasons, Wendy earned her title as the queen of all media.”

The Wendy Williams Show final episode aired June 17, 2022. While the show will be renamed “Sherri” and will premiere this September.
