New York City police officials have charged a man in connection to the gruesome and inhumane murder of a young woman as she pushed her 3 month old baby earlier this week!
As we previously reported Azsia Johnson, 20 was tragically shot in the back of her head at point blank range by a man dressed in all black as she pushed her baby in a stroller within the upper east side area of NYC. Her ex boyfriend and father of her child Isaac Argo, 22 is said to be responsible for her murder.
According to her family Aszia was a victim of domestic violence and had been staying in a woman’s shelter with her kids out of fear for her life. They state that she had been terribly abused and even beaten while she was pregnant by Isaac.
“She was a wonderful mother, ” said her mother Lisa Desort. Her mom reveals that Aszia had been threaten by Isaac just days before her death.
According to the New York Post, Isaac had paced back and forth near Lexington Avenue and East 95th Street on Wednesday as he waited for Aszia.
He has been arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court Saturday evening on charges of second-degree murder and second-degree weapons possession.
“This case can only be described as a premeditated execution. The defendant persuaded the victim to meet after work and under the guise that he wanted to give the deceased items for their 3-month-old daughter,” said Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Brittany DeCesare.

Officials state that Isaac called Aszia’s family and asked where his child was and even threatened that another unidentified person was “next,” following the incident.
“I thought that I could be stronger than what I was but I did have a little moment of a breakdown because it’s the first time I actually heard what really happened in chronological order,” Lisa told the outlet after court.
“To be honest, I wanted to jump up and scream out, ‘coward,’” she explained. “‘You’re not a man, you’re a monster.” That’s what I wanted to scream out.”
Isaac is set to return to court on July 7 and faces up to 25 years to life in prison if convicted.
Our prayers remain with Aszia’s children and family!
