Cousins!

Kanye West has been the topic of conversation throughout social media a lot recently in regards to videos, photos and clippings posted to his verified Instagram account in regards to his estranged wife Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend Pete Davidson!

As folks continuously debate and even joke whether the father of 4 strategy of attempting to get his family back is acceptable or not; social justice activist Shaun King has entered the group chat with his own opinion on the situation.

In a lengthy post issued on Instagram Shaun addresses Kanye’s recently released music video, ‘Eazy’ featuring The Game. The video is set in a Black and white cartoon dark overtone also including an unexpected appearance from whom viewers believe is a close depiction of Pete. As the song shifts to Ye’s part he is seen holding the head of whom viewers suggest is Pete, followed by a plan for kidnapping and him being buried alive.

In response to the video Shaun wrote, “It’s got to the point where @KanyeWest is going to get banned from Instagram and YouTube and other outlets.⁣ It might even be his goal. ⁣He just released a new video where Pete Davidson is violently decapitated. It shouldn’t be allowed online. It’s not art. No matter what he says. It’s a threat of violence.⁣“

“It’s wrong. ⁣And he’s crossed so many gross lines that he is physically endangering not only Pete Davidson, but he’s endangering his own family and their circle of friends,” Shaun continues.

“And what he’s doing here happens often. Kanye knows he can’t violently threaten Kim and show a video of him cutting her head off, so he does it to Pete Davidson. ⁣

It’s a form of domestic violence that so many women experience. And it’s causing real people real harm. Not just Kim, but her business partners, artists she works closely with, and more. “

“Listen. This isn’t conjecture,” Shaun explains. ⁣Kim and many of her friends are receiving violent rape and death threats over all of this. They’ve all had to drastically increase security at their homes over it.⁣ And Kanye has been told this. Kanye even posted the texts of Kim telling him he was endangering the whole family. ⁣That’s why he says on his new record, your security is going to need security – insinuating violence against them again.”

⁣“And if he wasn’t Kanye, he’d probably already be arrested. But he has now put Kim and her friends in a real bind. They don’t want to see a Black man go to jail. They don’t want the police to come to his house. But Kanye keeps dialing up these threats. ⁣“⁣

Shaun’s post continues, “What’s wild is that Kanye is literally dating another woman and bringing that woman (I just saw it) around his kids while rapping that Pete better not be around his kids. Again, this is a clinical form of domestic violence. So many women wrote me to say it happened to them. And it’s not a joke,” Shaun tells fans.⁣

“⁣1. Kanye will remove these things. ⁣

2. Then gaslight a non apology.⁣

3. Then do something pro-Black.⁣

4. Then something overtly Christian.⁣

5. Then he’ll say something very smart or witty.⁣

6. Then he will do something dangerous again.⁣

7. Then he’ll repeat the cycle.⁣

⁣Except now real people are being harmed. “

As we previously reported Kim had filed motion against Kanye in court stating that his social media posts have caused her emotional distress. The Chicago native then followed up requesting to object Kim’s claims in saying that there’s no proof that he’s the person that actually posts on his verified account.

The Eazy video was released the same day a judge declared Kim legally single.
