A Chinese man whose surname is Huang, from Nanning in Southern China, put that theory to the test. He utilized his now ex-girlfriend’s phone’s facial recognition to raid her bank account, totalling a loss of $23,500.
The shady Bae finessed his sleeping beauty on the regular. Yahoo news reports, once she fell into a deep slumber, likely dreaming of a future with her Boo thang, he used her dainty fingers to unlock her phone.
Then gingerly peeled her eyelids open, to activate her phone’s facial recognition feature to access her bank accounts. Huang would then drain her abundant savings into his thirsty bank account before sunup, on multiple occasions. Her sugar plum was organized if nothing else.
The 28 year old scammer was sentenced to 3.5 years in the slammer. Huang transferred the $23,500 from her personal funds as well as from her line of credit. The moment his ex-girl noticed the funds were missing, she went to the authorities who concluded Huang was the culprit responsible.
