A member of Lil Wayne’s security fires back at the superstar rapper by pressing charges against him. The unnamed security guard alleges the New Orleans-raised artist, allegedly pulled out an AR-15 during an argument in early December of 2021.
AllHipHop reports, that when the alleged gun incident took place, the bodyguard did not immediately press charges. Since then, however, he has had a change of heart and now wants authorities to prosecute the “Duffle Bag Boy” emcee. In addition, he alleges Wayne struck him in the head.
According to TMZ a law enforcement source feels, there is little chance anything will be done. The case does not seem strong enough to pursue. In fact, Weezy has not even been spoken to about this alleged situation.
An argument started in the award-winning artist’s Hidden Hills home because the guard was accused, of snapping and/or leaking non-consensual photos. LW then introduced the guard to his AR-15 and the bodyguard tore out of there and notified the boys in blue. Officers apparently had issues right off the top, with the guard’s version of events and noted there were no visible injuries.
Those close to the songwriter allege he doesn’t even own a gun, and as far as physical fighting goes, never happened.
Wayne has had two separate gun charges in the past that he pled guilty to. In addition, he served eight months in New York for criminal possession of a weapon back in 2007. He also pled guilty to a federal firearms charge and was pardoned by former President Donald Trump.
The same source feels a civil suit may be lurking on the horizon. For now, the “Lollipop” rapper is living his best life! He recently highlighted on social media his luxury Young Money apparel; hand-designed by him. He also posted his 2022 predictions (none of which involved a payout to his former bodyguard).
