Big Freedia recently felt the heat when she came for Lil Boosie’s defense over his recent remarks against Lil Nas X. Previously, the Baton Rouge rapper took to Twitter to fire back at the “Old Town Road” artist, based on a live video where Lil Nas X said he was making a song with Boosie!

According to Revolt, Boosie then used a homophobic slur while referring to Lil Nas, suggesting he should commit suicide. 

When stopped by TMZ, Lil Freedia said she does not believe the rapper is homophobic and simply infered the “Set It Off” rapper mainly has a problem with Lil Nas X. 

“I don’t think Boosie is homophobic, I think he just has a problem with Lil Nas,” she told the outlet. “… He was upset. You know, when people get upset they’ll say whatever’s on their mind and on their heart.”

The New Orleans bounce legend claims Boosie “definitely has respect for the gay community.” His new documentary My Struggle featured gay characters. 

“Boosie’s new movie My Struggle has lots of gay folks in there,” she said. “He has a whole scene in jail where he has a lot of gay guys from Louisiana representing.”

I love Big Freedia, but this is not it. Boosie is homophobic, but we can all agree to disagree. His actions and the way he has been moving towards Nas are very questionable.
