For all you real housewives fans, there is some good news regarding the franchise. Are you guys ready? Bravo and Andy Cohen just announced the ‘Real Housewives of Dubai’ will be coming to Bravo, making it the first international series within the franchise. If you are a housewives fan like me, then I know you are just as excited as me!
As reported by US Weekly, the newest series will shine a light on “a group of women navigating their relationships, careers and supremely lavish and ultra-wealthy lifestyles in the United Arab Emirates.” In a press release, Andy Cohen says, “Everything’s bigger in Dubai, and I couldn’t be more excited to launch Bravo’s first international Housewives series in a city I’ve been fascinated by for years, with an outstanding group of friends as our guides.”
Since the announcement of the new lavish series, there has been a lot of speculation about the castmates.
According to Shadow And Act, the series involves several women of color. Caroline Stanbury is one of the big names that could be a part of the show.
She is returning to Bravo after starring in the Ladies of London. Stanbury will be joined by Caroline Brooks, Chanel Ayan, Sara Al Madani, Lesa Milan Hall, and Nina Ali. Just like her cast mate, this will not be the first time Milan is on television. Hall starred in season 6 of BET’s College Hill, where she was just known as Milan. Not only that but people have been throwing around Lindsay Lohan as a possibility of joining the cast. Lohan has been living in Dubai since 2014. Which honestly, I did not know until now! Crazy right?!
Reportedly, they have not started filming yet, but camera crews have arrived in Dubai and will be starting soon. Stanbury will be getting married in December and allegedly, it will be filmed for the show.
Fans now have the opportunity to decide on the official hashtag for the show. Social media users can choose between the following, #RHODubai or #RHODXB. I am leaning towards #RHODXB more.
