R. Kelly done called Bill Cosby and asked for his former attorney’s number y’all!

The year has been an interesting one for R. Kelly to say the least. Following a recent guilty verdict, the defamed singer is pulling out all his lifelines to get himself out of prison.

Sources from Showbiz Cheatsheet reported that Kelly’s legal team are doing their best to appeal recent charges brought up against him.

As we previously reported the charges included derive from sex trafficking and racketeering. Back in 2019 the singer sat down with Gayle King for a now viral interview, and the two discussed the allegations against him.

Gayle recently took to social media to express her feelings towards the guilty verdict; “the judge said some of the evidence was disgusting and despicable, that they wouldn’t even allow it to be played in court. Let’s just say part of the evidence involved feces; Let’s just say that.”

During the weeklong trial, MSN News reports that several witnesses detailed disturbing accounts of manipulation, bribery, ephebophilia and assault, both physical and sexual.

R. Kelly is hoping to appeal the recent charges being brought against him, with the help from Jennifer Bonjean, Bill Cosby’s former attorney. She was able to get all charges against Bill overturned. Bonjean’s plan is to push for a new trial for Kelly and she is set to present her case to the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
