A Waffle House manager is currently fighting for her life within a local hospital after suffering a gunshot wound to the head following an alleged altercation with a customer!
Police official were altered early Monday morning around 2AM of a disturbance at the establishment located in Brooklhaven, reports WLOX. When officials arrived the gunmen identified later on by the name of Willie Walker III had already fled the scene.
Police Chief Kenneth Collins has come forward to tell the outlet that the altercation erupted as the woman manger sent one of her employees home. The said employee was the girlfriend of Willie. It has been stated that he came to the establishment shortly after she was sent home and picked a fight with the manager.
Sources have confirmed that both a male and a woman had been shot. The male victim had been shot in the arm and drove himself and the woman to King’s Daughter Hospital.
It has been indicated that the woman was later flown to UMMC Jackson, unfortunately there are no current updates of her condition.
Willie is currently in custody of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department being held without bail. The outlet states that he was actually already out on bail for a shooting incident a couple weeks ago that took place at his cousin’s house.
He’s currently facing charges of attempted murder, two counts of shooting into a vehicle and aggravated assault.
