A Waffle House customer had an unsavoury experience while stopping through a local favorite Waffle House, in downtown Atlanta.
Mr. Candy Franklin placed an order of their scrumptious cheesy eggs, but when he noted the eggs were plain and not cheesy, he was offered a platter of gun pellets instead, as the waitress allegedly took offence and pulled a gun on him.
According to the New York Post, He didn’t notice right away because he was staring down at his incorrect order. He heard patrons jumping up and running, so he looked up to see what the commotion was all about.
The waitress had him in her sights, wanting him to ‘say hello to her little friend’. Franklin states he didn’t think she was going to pump him full of lead, until she suddenly cocked the gun and confirmed verbally she was going to “blow his brains out”.
‘At first, they didn’t bring them to me. Then they brought me normal eggs and I said that I ordered eggs with cheese on it. It was all a normal dispute over food. I never in a million years thought it would come to gun violence,” Franklin said.
“I was looking down at my food making sure it was right and that’s when I just saw people running. I look up and she had the gun at me. I didn’t think she would shoot then she cocked it back. So, I was like maybe she is about to do something. Now, it’s time for me to turn into Rambo and get out of there,”
Franklin was immediately triggered, as a result of the recent loss of his brother to gun violence and an encounter with himself, being pierced by bullets in the past. Sources confirm that he got himself out of there ASAP.
Waffle House received a customer complaint, and has launched an investigation into the matter.
As for Mr Franklin, he says he has permanently lost his appetite for the popular restaurant chain’s ‘cheesy eggs’
