Kyle Rittenhouse defense lawyers attempted to paint the innocent human beings; who were murdered and wounded by this disturbed young adult last August 2020 in Kenosha, as “rioters, looters, arsonists”.
Kyle’s legal team highlights his age of being 17 at the time when these reckless acts were committed, according to JSOnline. They argue that he acted in lawful self defense, yet none of the victims were found to have committed any crimes that night.
Assistant District Attorneys Thomas Binger and James Kraus in response, filed a motion to shut all of this down. They are limiting the use of Rittenhouse’s first name, insisting he be referred to by his last with “Mr” in front of it, as well as to disallow bringing forth any prior criminal charges in the victim’s prior history, or implying police had the suspect there for any part of a crowd control effort.
Circuit Judge Bruce Schroeder has already ruled in favor of excluding criminal histories. The next hearing for this case is scheduled on October 25, 2021.
