A series of lab tests have confirmed that something in the milk isn’t quite clean or should we say sandwich at the food establishment of Subway; after zero DNA of tuna was discovered in their signature tuna fish sandwiches!
The NY Times has reported that after obtaining three samples of tuna from three different locations in Los Angeles.
The test revealed, “no amplifiable tuna DNA was present in the sample and so we obtained no amplification products from the DNA. Therefore, we cannot identify the species.”
Reports read that the Tuna has possibly been so heavily processed that the tuna DNA was unidentifiable or that none was actually ever used
Following the circulated reports Subway has denied all claims and stated that they use skipjack and yellowfin tuna.
Experts have stated that lab results could possibly derive from the notion that when tuna is cooked it breaks down the elements of protein making it difficult to identify.
