The viral Tampa , Florida double murder trial featuring Ronnie O’Neal is still ongoing, with the latest update consisting of a cross examination of the suspect’s 11 year old son along with an absolutely heartbreaking and gut wrenching testimony!

Ronnie has denied all charges and indicates that his now deceased girlfriend had attacked their children in which he states he murdered her to protect them. However his now 11 year old son remembers the tragic 2018 incident very differently.

Ronnie asked his son multiple questions while on trial in attempt to prove his previous statements weren’t consistent.

He began by asking,” did you see me shoot your mom” and his son answering, “no.” He then asked the young boy, “ Did I hurt you that night?” and the 11 year old saying, “ Yes, you stabbed me.”

According to USA Today, his son went on to further explain in detail how his father set the house on fire using gasoline.

Ronnie argues that, “The evidence is going to show that I love my children,” Oneal told jurors. “The evidence will not show you that my son witnessed me beat his mom to death, nor did he witness me shoot his mom. In fact, he didn’t witness much at all.”

As we previously reported, if convicted Ronnie could receive the death penalty. Reports read that trial is expected to last through the end of week.
