A Detroit male was recently on top of the world after being named the official recipient of a lottery for $30,000 dollars!

The identified winner named Jamal, celebrated his major by purchasing a gold chain for a total of $20,000.

Unfortunately following his win that same chain was snatched from his neck while at a local petroleum station located in Detroit, Michigan reports The Guardian.

Reports read that Jamal was targeted by a group of three people while in the convenient store.

He was tackled to the ground as another person grabbed him from the back and snatched the chain off his neck and they then ran off into a vehicle before pulling off.

The entire incident was captured on surveillance footage from the gas station. The store’s owner said he believes the same group of men robbed another customer for their chain a few month ago.

Unfortunately no arrests have been made at this time.
