Investigators handling the tragic murder case of popular New York rapper Pop Smoke have officially identified the gunman to be a 15 year old male!

According to the Daily Beast, the gunman was accompanied by a group of teenagers that busted into the rented Hollywood home Pop was staying at last year and demanded his jewelry.

Sources have confirmed that the gunman confessed to police officials that Pop had complied with his demands and then attempted to rush at the teens which lead to him being pistol whipped and shot in the chest.

Reports read that the teens were initially eyeing Pop’s gold chain but only made it out with his Rolex that they sold for only $2,000.

The gunmen is currently one of four people charged with murder, which he has pleaded not guilty.
