Please join us in sending our deepest condolences and prayers to Nicki Minaj and her family following a Hit-And-Run incident that claimed the life of her father Robert Maraj at 64 years old.

According to TMZ the incident took place Friday evening around 6PM EST within the Roslyn Road and Raff Avenue area of New York as Robert was crossing the street.

Reports read that he was hit by a car traveling northbound and that the driver then fled the scene. It has been indicated that there is currently no one in custody at this time and Nassau officials are currently investigating the incident.

Robert was rushed to a local hospital where he was listed as in critical condition. Unfortunately he later succumbed to his injuries and passed over the weekend.
