Cousins!

An absolutely horrible and gut wrenching series of events has left a Louisiana family completely heart broken while searching for answers following the disappearance of their loved one found dead days later with a completely disfigured face!

Quawan Charles, 15 was last seen alive in his hometown of Baldwin, Louisiana on October 30th reports Essence.

Sources have confirmed that his family informed local officials that Quawan was last seen leaving their home without permission alongside his friend and his friend’s mother.

Reports read that Quawan’s body was discovered by the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division on November 2. at exactly 5PM in a field within Loreauville, Louisiana.

“I want the lady who came to get my son without my permission, his dad’s permission, to be held accountable,” states Quawan’s mother Roxanne Nelson. “You cannot just take someone’s son, bring them to your house and not be held accountable. She took them to her house, he was alive and well when he was here, and now he is dead when he went to Loreauville to her house.”

It has been indicated that Quawan’s family accuses the Baldwin Police Department for not acting with urgency following their reports of their son going missing. Officials instead told them it was too soon to act on their claims and that he could’ve possibly been at a football game or friend’s house.

“He has a big knot on his head, so it’s obvious someone hit him on the head with something” his mom continues.

“He was found dead underunder mysterious circumstances, and we just want an honest and thorough investigation with the Iberia Parish Sheriff Department,” states Quawan’s stepfather Jason Nelson.

Upon the discovery of Quawan’s body Iberia Parish officials claimed that he probably drowned along with the first examination report finding water in his lungs. However his parents do not believe that is at all what happened and have obtained further assistance.

An independent autopsy is underway which indicates Quawan’s cause of death as pending but points to signs of drowning. They’ve stated that there was no hints of trauma or natural disease and that his body decomposition was ongoing when he arrived. Both the toxicology and histology reports have yet to be concluded.
