According to Fox News , Sinbad’s family had released a statement on Monday afternoon that reads, “it is out of sincere love that we share Sinbad, our beloved husband and father, is recovering from a recent stroke.”

The statement continues, “Sinbad is a light source of love and joy for many generations. While he is beginning his road to recovery, we are faithful and optimistic that he will bring laughter into our hearts soon.”

Sinbad’s career within the industry expands from the late 70s and beyond. From highly celebrated family sitcoms to major films Sinbad serves as a pillar of excellency within the Black community.
