As if 2020 couldn’t get any more eventful NASA officials have recently confirmed that a possible asteroid may hit the U.S exactly one day before the presidential election!

According to TMZ , an asteroid is currently on trajectory to hit the US on November 2nd 2020.

Sources have confirmed that there is good news though, that there’s a 1% chance it the asteroid will actually hit and a 99% chance that won’t mainly due to its 6.5 diameter.

The space agency reports that there are three possible points of impact the asteroid could strike, but no specifications have been made.

Though the chance are slim to none, NASA Administrator Jim Birdstein had warmed last year that asteroids could be the one thing to end life on earth.
