We ask you all to join us at this time in sending our most sincere prayers and deepest condolences to the family of Morgan state university student Jordan Cofield following his recent death.

According to CBS NEWS Jordan, 20 died in a motorcycle crash accident on Interstate 795 within #Baltimore County Saturday night.

Local officials have confirmed that Jordan was riding a motorcycle at a high speed near northbound I-795 close to Owings Mills Boulevard exit when he lost complete control, sped off the road and hit a guardrail. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

It has been indicated that Jordan’s mom took to the social media platform of Facebook to state, “My heart is extremely heavy and my soul is crushed- Rest in Peace my son, my heartbeat, my love.”

Jordan was a junior at Morgan state and a member of both the football and track team. He was majoring in business administration and had successfully made his way to the Dean’s list and Athletic honor roll.
