How many times have we all fathom the thought that things could possibly be different if someone would stand up and do something? One young man in general has taken on the duty of utilizing his social media each day to protect a Black single mother against viciously racist neighbors at all costs!
Earlier this week we reported the horrific occurrences single mother and registered nurse Jennifer McLeggan is forced to face each day while living within a predominantly white neighborhood. With a plastered note across her home’s door that reads the inhumane occurrences herself as well as her property has endured from the day she moved in nearly three years ago.

From racial slurs, threats, harassment and more Jennifer has been forced to live in fear of her life as well as her child’s.
“I bought the property when I was pregnant, and this is the truth, the property was in bad shape,” she states. “I’m trying my best to make every effort to clean the property. I’ve done my best to clean the property. I mow the lawn, when there’s snow out here I’m shoveling the snow by myself. I’m doing what I can to keep the property clean. I kept on noticing dog feces. I kept on noticing ticket ordinances from the Valley Stream Village town. I keep getting tickets. I keep seeing dog feces. I installed a camera here. I caught my neighbor throwing dog feces in front of my property. I took that video to court, and I won a judgment.”

A young man named Anthony learned of her story and decided to take action. According to Bossip, Anthony goes on live from his social media account each night to report occurrences he witnesses while also protecting Jennifer from outside of her home. He states should something happen to him, the community will know.
I offered to clean her yard for free so that she doesn’t 1. Get a ticket 2. Has to pay a cleaning service. If anybody else is willing to help let me know and we’ll set up some days where we can do so.

Through his social media account we have learned that Anthony’s community support only grows bigger. As numerous social media users have reached out to send him money to thank him, Anthony has ultimately declined and instead asked that funding be forwarded to help support Jennifer.

The police came yesterday and watched her house for an hour and left. This man was known to fuck with her around 3-4 AM yet the police think it’s fine to pull up stay for a bit and leave and then send undercovers to fuck with me.
