An Italian nurse is currently in police custody after confessing to killing his girlfriend for allegedly giving him the #Coronavirus !
Antonio De Pace, 28 contacted police officials Tuesday evening and openly admitted to strangling his girlfriend Lorena Quaranta, 27 to death, reports the New York Post.
Sources have confirmed that upon police officials arrival they discovered Quaranta’s lifeless body. Reports read that De Pace also had multiple cuts on his wrists at the time.
Once arrested De Pace openly stated, “I killed her because she gave me coronavirus.”
Together the couple worked at a Sicilian hospital located in a country that has been identified as having more than 13,000 positive cases of the virus.
According to the prosecution team both De Pace and Quaranta ultimately tested negative for virus.
