Reports read that Italy has conducted a complete lockdown after 31,000 residents have tested positive, resulting in 2,500 deaths. It has been noted that 16,000 people have contracted the virus in #Iran and 13,000 in #Spain.
WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has come forward to state, “More cases are now being reported [in Europe] every day than were reported in China at the height of its epidemic.”
He goes on to say, “In the past two weeks the number of cases outside China has increased thirteenfold and the number of affected countries has tripled. In the days and weeks ahead, we expect to see the number of cases, the number of deaths and the number of affected countries to climb even higher.”
