According to TMZ, Scott experienced a heart attack last Tuesday on February 11th within her home located in Santa Monica, California. Sources have confirmed that she was later found unconscious and then rushed to the nearest hospital.
It has been indicated that Scott remained hospitalized since the incident and shortly passed away in a matter of days. She was surrounded by her immediate family and her loved ones.
Scott was a phenomenal actress with a resume that stretched throughout multiple decades. Her talents constructed a platform fit for her to play a major role within the black community. She is well known from television to film in legendary works such as Martin, The Wayans Bros. , Boyz N The Hood, You Got Served and many more. Each role both concise and relevant allowed her to become a major staple within thousands of black families forever!
