Blue Ivy Wins First Songwriter Award At 7 Years Old!

Leader of the new school little miss Blue Ivy Carter has created history of her own, winning her first songwriter award at the young age of only 7 years old!

According to USA TODAY; Blue was recently named the Ashford and Simpson songwriter of the year recipient at the 2019 Soul Train Awards on Sunday for her hit single “ Brown Skin Girl.”


Sources have confirmed that Blue shares this award with both of her parents Jay Z and Beyonce as well as St Jhn and accompanying songwriters.

” Brown skin girl, skin just like pearls. The best thing in the world, I wouldn’t trade you for anybody else,” sings Blue Ivy through the intro and out to of the song. The song became a viral sensation upon its release as Blue alongside Beyonce, Wizkid and St Jhn beautifully and elegantly pay homage to the melinated Queens of the world.

It has also been indicated that “ Brown Skin Girl” is currently in the talks of landing a 2020 Grammy nomination.
