It has been one month since the horrific and unexpected murder of beloved activist #SadieRobertsJoseph, 75. She was murdered at the hands of sex offender and former tenant Ronn Bell, 38. Roberts-Joseph was proclaimed a community jewel who spent most of her life advocating for social justice amongst African Americans on a global scale. Since her passing things have not quite been the same.
According to #NewsOne ; the African American museum of Odell S. Williams located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana: founded by Roberts-Joseph has recently been compromised for vandalism. Sources have indicated that the gruesome incident took place on Monday Aug. 12.
Multiple images have surfaced on the internet of shattered glass, flipped benches, defaced, torn and ruined landscaping from outside of the museum. It has been stated that there has been no further details forwarded upon the inside of the museum. The museum has been completely closed since Robert-Joseph’s death. An investigation is underway no arrests have been made at this time.
