#Family; our prayers have been semi answered! Our good sis #IssaRae has forwarded an exclusive update upon her hit television series on #HBO , Insecure!
According to #Deadline ; during a #TCA panel pertaining to her new series on HBO A Black Lady Sketch Show; Issa dropped a few details. She announced that official shooting for season 4 will begin in September. Also starting that despite the usual 8 featured episodes per season format that we’re familiar with, the 4th season will consist of a total of 10 episodes.
Sources have indicated that Insecure has successfully landed Issa two academy award nominations in 2018; for lead actress in a comedy series and half-hour single camera cinematography. Though we are still heart broken that we won’t be able to fully enjoy our Hot Girl Summer without seeing Issa stir up more mess, we have plenty to look forward to with season 4, set to air in 2020.
