Mo’nique Sheds Light On Historical Falling Out With Oprah!

#Family ; for years maybe, even possibly a decade we have all wondered what ever happened between comedic legend #MoNique and media mogul #OprahWinfrey. The only information we’ve ever been forwarded were rumors and speculations as of where things went wrong, but never in-depth details of why these two queens just have zero tolerance for one another. Within a recent interview Mo’nique spills all the tea and explains where things went off track for her.

According to #TheShadeRoom ; within an interview with #ComedyHype, Mo’nique forwarded details of delicate information pertaining to her relationship with her immediate family and the part Oprah played in things. Mo’nique states that years ago her brother Gerald had reached out to Oprah within hopes of being featured on her day time show to speak about molesting Mo as a child. Mo goes on to state that her brother told Oprah that he wanted to use the large platform to assist parents with the sensitive topic and help them to keep their children safe from predators.

Mo’nique goes on to state that she told Oprah that she doesn’t trust her brother and doesn’t want anything to do with him. “I said I don’t want nothing to do with that cat,.”

“The n***a that I know is a scammer and I don’t want anything to do with it.”

Mo’nique states that Oprah then agreed to not have her family appear on the show. However Mo’nique was caught off guard when clips of the show were aired featuring her brother and both of her parents. Mo’nique states she had no idea because if she did it wouldn’t have ever happened. “She never said my mother was coming on that show,” Mo says. “Because if Oprah Winfrey would have said she was having my mother on that show, I would have said shut it down!”

Mo’nique shares that she has had in-depth conversations with Oprah upon her family dynamic and how uncomfortable she is with the world viewing her personal relationship with them. She feels that everything was disregarded for television and once she attempted to confront her all lines of communication stoped.
