A beloved #Mississippi teacher has been murdered at the hands of two men he innocently offered a ride to last week within a nearby location.
According to #Blavity , eighth grade teacher and Natchez Adam School faculty member Fredrick McCray Jr ‘s body was discovered in Feeriday, Louisiana on Monday June.24. Sources have stated that on the night of McCray’s murder he offered a ride to Jimmy O’Neal and Cedrick Tennessee. Reports read during the ride one of the passengers pulled out a firearm and shot McCray. Within a horrific effort of exposing all evidence, the two men hid McCray’s body at a dog food plant under wood and garbage.
Both men have confessed to the murder of McCray, but haven’t forwarded a single motive behind their commuted crime. The suspects have been charged with first degree murder.
Many are in mourning of McCray’s devastating death, describing him as a true gem and stand up guy. He was recently named teacher of the year within his school district.
Natchez Adams School district have forwarded a statement upon their beloved faciulty member’s death, “Mr. McCray dutifully taught Technology Foundations and also served as Assistant Test Coordinator. In his first year of teaching at Morgantown, Mr. McCray was named the 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year. Mr. McCray’s zeal for education, infectious smile, gentle personality, fashion sense, and love for children will be missed by all of us at Natchez-Adams School District.”
