It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The holidays have different ways of affecting us all, some are more fortunate than others and vice versa. But let’s never forget acts of kindness, positivity and love are priceless!

Christmas came early this year according to People Magazine ; super producer, writer, actor and director extraordinary Tyler Perry paid off a total of 434K in layaway balances at two Walmart locations within Atlanta.

Perry took to instagram earlier this afternoon to express that he attempted to commit his good deed in silence but you know how the internet can be: “ If you have a layaway at the Walmart at 844 Cleveland Avenue in East Point, Georgia — in Atlanta — or if you have a layaway at the Walmart at 7001 Concourse Parkway in Douglasville, Georgia — if you have a layaway at either place and it was in there as of 9:30 this morning, it was already in layaway before 9:30 this morning — I have paid for all of your layaways for Christmas.”

The customers were required to pay exactly one penny in order to receive their items. Sources state Perry covered the tab of over 1,500 customers.
