We would like to take this time to send our deepest thoughts and prayers to the Starz “Power” cast and crew . We’ve recently gotten word that a crew member has passed due to an accident that occurred while on set.
According to #TSR ; the entire ordeal took place 4:30 AM this Monday morning within the #Brooklyn area of New York City. A crew member by the name of #PedroJimenez; was setting up parking safety cones for production when he was hit by an SUV. Sources state that the SUV was driven by another crew member. It has been stated that Jimenez has been a beloved crew member of the series since 2014.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of the members of our Power family. Our thoughts are with Mr. Jimenez’ family as we work to fully understand what has happened.” states a spokesperson from Starz. Production has been put on hold as the NYPD investigate the unfortunate turn of events.
