It has literally been less than a month since #Nike Named #ColinKaepernick as the face of their new campaign. Even though many of us applaud Kaepernick’s stance or should we say “ kneel “ against police brutality and societal corruption against minorities. There are still many monsters out there who are more than happy to showcase their hatred and direct forms of racism for all to see.
According to #Blavity ; fake Nike coupons have surfaced advertising special discounts for “people of color,” . The coupons are promised to give 75-80% off of #Nike merchandise for people of color and the urban youth. Not only did these fools try it, they also failed! The falsified discounter coupons have been identified as having numerous grammatical errors.
Nike has since then issued warning to merchandise retailers throughout US locations of this pressing issue. The executive director of the Consumer Federation Of America, called it like most of us see it “This is nothing more than a dog whistle to a small, and unfortunate, segment of America. Another way to put it is that this is a racial statement masquerading as a scam.”
