Noir Nation, The White House has finally confirmed that a deal involving TikTok and China has been finalized, officially ending the possibility of a nationwide U.S. ban!
For years, social media users and content creators have been forced to ponder the uncertainty of TikTok’s future amid political pressure.
According to CBS News, the agreement reshapes TikTok’s American operations under a new U.S.-based joint venture, allowing the platform to continue operating nationwide.
Under the deal, U.S. investors, including Oracle will hold majority ownership, while ByteDance retains a minority stake. Federal officials say the move addresses long-standing national security concerns surrounding data privacy and foreign influence.
In a forwarded press release from TikTok they confirm, “will operate under defined safeguards that protect national security through comprehensive data protections, algorithm security, content moderation, and software assurances for U.S. users.”
Trump also celebrated the newly finalized deal on social media, “I am so happy to have helped in saving TikTok! It will now be owned by a group of Great American Patriots and Investors.”
“I only hope that long into the future I will be remembered by those who use and love TikTok,” he added.
For creators, brands, and digital communities who rely on TikTok as a pipeline for visibility and income, the confirmation is a major weight off their shoulders.
