Tia Mowry is officially keeping the magic alive. The actress recently shared with Entertainment Tonight that she is completely open to returning for a third installment of Disney’s beloved cult-classic, ‘Twitches.’
“Come on,” Mowry said enthusiastically. “It’s Disney. Come on, Disney. You guys have a yes from me; you have a yes from Tamera. So, let’s do it, Disney!”
According to Tia, both she and her twin sister Tamera Mowry are ready to reprise their iconic roles — with the final decision now resting solely in Disney’s hands.
Adding even more excitement to the possibility of a third film, Chlöe and Halle Bailey have also publicly expressed interest in joining the franchise. Tia acknowledged the buzz surrounding the sisters, suggesting their involvement could bring a new generation of magic to the Twitches universe.
Tamera Mowry previously echoed similar sentiments in an interview with TV Insider, admitting she would love to return while also recognizing the pressure that comes with reviving such a legendary film.
“I mean, I would love to. I would love to,” Tamera shared. “I think there are a lot of things that would have to align. And then, there’s so much pressure when the original was so iconic.”
Released in 2005, ‘Twitches’ followed long-lost twin sisters who reunite on their 21st birthdays, only to discover they possess powerful magical abilities. The Disney Channel Original Movie quickly became a Halloween staple, resonating deeply with millennials and later gaining renewed appreciation from Gen Z audiences.
Nearly two decades later, fans continue to demand a continuation of the beloved franchise — flooding social media with calls for ‘Twitches 3.’ With both Mowry sisters on board and rising interest from Chlöe and Halle Bailey, the question now remains: Will Disney finally answer the call and make the magic official?
