Kelly Rowland is stepping into 2026 with her foot on the gas!
The Grammy-winning superstar is gearing up for a brand-new album, a worldwide tour, and a romantic comedy that already has social media in shambles. Kelly is declaring this next chapter about evolution, intention, and pure joy.
In a new interview with L’OFFICIEL, Kelly opened up about the spark she’s feeling creatively as she prepares to hit the road again.
“I’m so excited to get back on the road. Touring is one of my favorite things to do,” she shared. Kelly revealed that while preparing for the tour, her biggest focus was shaping a show that feels uniquely her. “I asked myself the same question: How do I make my show solely me? To do so I went inward. Fans can expect to see a lot more dancing. I just want them to have fun. And I want to have fun.”
Kelly also teased her upcoming album, set to take fans deeper than ever before. Leaning into her roots, she says this project taps into a richer, more soulful version of her artistry.
“I’ve been in the studio, and I am pouring my soul into this project,” she explained. “This is a more soulful me. I’m also getting more reflective and vulnerable.”
But that’s not all. Kelly is also stepping back onto the big screen in a romantic comedy alongside Method Man, a pairing fans did not see coming and the internet has been eating it up ever since the announcement.
“I love a good romantic comedy, and I knew this would be special,” Kelly said. “Working with Method Man was so beautiful. Everyone knows him from music, but this man is one helluva actor. He comes prepared, stays in character, and is just the biggest cheerleader for everyone. I cannot wait for the world to see this film.”
Outside of her artistic projects, Kelly continues to use her platform with purpose rom mentorship to hands-on charity work. For her, creativity and service go hand in hand.
“They’re both important to me, so I find the time. I cannot be creative if I am not giving back. And my advocacy work pushes my creativity.”
While she’s balancing music, film, and philanthropy, Kelly is clear about where her heart truly lies: her family. She says being a mother and a wife remain her most cherished roles.
“Becoming a mother has been the most enlightening thing I have ever done,” she said. Her sons, Titan (11) and Noah (4), keep her grounded. “Everything I do, I’m aware of how it affects them—not just now, but in the future. My husband’s and my number-one job is to ensure that we are creating a better world for them.”
As 2026 approaches, Kelly Rowland is stepping confidently into a new era soulful, fearless, and fully in her bag.
