Singer Tish Hyman is taking action after being banned from Gold’s Gym in Los Angeles for a confrontation in the women’s locker room with a Trans woman!

According to circulating reports the incident occurred in late October when Tish encountered a transwoman by the name of Grant Kyle Freeman using the women’s locker-room area.

Tish shared her experience on social media, accusing the gym of mishandling the incident.

“Multiple women and I have repeatedly made written reports on this man for coming into our women’s locker room harassing us, and the gym staff has done absolutely nothing. Today, as I walked in, he came behind me and called me a bitch in a deep, angry voice. I was TERRIFIED. I RAN OUT INTO THE GYM SCREAMING THERE IS A MAN IN THE RESTROOM!!”

Tish says men in the gym stepped in to help remove the man, but instead of being supported, Hyman’s membership was revoked.

“They removed him—but then they turned around and terminated my membership too, as if I was being punished for speaking up. Should we keep giving gyms our money if they won’t protect us? IS IT TIME we CANCEL our GYM memberships until they understand that women’s safety isn’t negotiable?”

In a post on Twitter ( X), Tish wrote:

“#goldsgym terminated my membership after the MAN was escorted out by police. Then had me escorted out by officers afterwards. It was EMBARRASSING! I left but not before making sure everyone KNEW that they were allowing MEN in the locker room !!!!!”

According to gym staff, Freeman was in the women’s locker room at the time, and California law protects individuals’ access to facilities based on gender identity. Tish confronted Freeman while other women were present, prompting staff to revoke Tish’s membership and call authorities to manage the disturbance.

The incident has since gone viral, with Tish’s posts and videos pulling in millions of comments and views; resulting in intense debates.

Some social media users and public figures expressed support for Tish, arguing women’s privacy was violated, while others defended Freeman’s legal right to use the facility. In the last few weeks the incident has sparked calles for boycotts and discussions about balancing privacy with transgender rights rapidly circulated.

As her story begin to picks up more attention, Tish has since addressed claims of her being transphobicbic.

“I am so tired of the word TRANSPHOBIA. Can we just be done using it !? PHOBIA: an uncontrollable, irrational, and lasting fear of a certain object… WERE NOT SCARED OF TRANS! WE KNOW THEY ARE MENTALLY ILL AND DANGEROUS TO WOMEN. THATS IT. No more holding our thoughts hostage… MEN ARE MEN, WOMEN ARE WOMEN.”
