The audacity is hella loud!

The Florida woman convicted for the fatal shooting of Ajike “AJ” Owens, is reportedly threatening to sue AJ’s grieving family for defamation — yes, you read that right.

According to WCJB-ABC News, Susan Lorincz is accusing AJ’s mother, Pamela Dias, and Owens’ children of defaming her character. She is currently preparing to move forward with legal action as a counter to the wrongful death lawsuit that Pamela Dias previously filed against her.

Sources state Lorincz claims Owens’ children lied in their depositions and that they repeatedly trespassed on her property prior to the shooting. She also claims that one of the children lied about her allegedly throwing a skate at him.

Lorincz is seeking $50,000  for slander, libel, and defamation of character and damages.-

The shocking twist has sparked outrage online, with many calling the move “cruel” and “heartless,” given the tragic circumstances surrounding AJ’s death.

As we previously reported, AJ Owens, a devoted mother of four, was shot and killed in June 2023 after confronting Lorincz for verbally and physically attacking her young son. The altercation took place outside Lorincz’s home in Ocala, Florida, and reignited national conversations around racial bias, Stand Your Ground laws, and accountability in self-defense cases.

Since her 2024 conviction, where she has been ordered to serve 25 years in prison; Lorincz has come face to face with the consequences of her actions.

Following the recent release of the Netflix documentary ‘The Perfect Neighbor,’ which pulled back the curtain on her disturbing pattern of harassment, Lorincz has found herself making major headlines once again. The film detailed how Lorincz terrorized young children and their families in the once peaceful neighborhood for years, exposing how she created a toxic environment.

Despite the emotional toll this tragedy has taken on AJ’s loved ones, her family continues to fight for justice and preserve her legacy. Many supporters have rallied around them, emphasizing that no amount of legal intimidation can erase the truth of what happened.
