Noir Nation, get ready! The Power Universe is expanding once again, and this time we’re going back to where it all began. Starz has officially announced the cast for the highly anticipated prequel series Power: Origins, giving fans their first look at the actors stepping into the shoes of the young James “Ghost” St. Patrick and Tommy Egan.

According to Deadline, the new series will peel back the layers on how these two street legends built their empire, moving from corner hustlers to the masterminds behind one of New York City’s most notorious operations. The story is set to explore not just the rise, but the sacrifices, ambition, and betrayals that paved the way for the Power we know today.

Spence Moore II, who recently starred in Creed III, has been tapped to portray a young Ghost, while Charlie Mann, best known for his role in The Watchers, will embody the fiery and unpredictable young Tommy. Both actors are stepping into some big shoes, as Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora originally defined the roles and turned them into cultural icons.

Behind the scenes, Power: Origins will be led by Sascha Penn—the same showrunner who brought Power Book III: Raising Kanan to life. With Penn at the helm, fans can expect the same mix of grit, authenticity, and high-stakes storytelling that has made the Power franchise a cornerstone of television culture.

Noir Nation, this chapter isn’t just a spinoff—it’s the blueprint. The bond between Ghost and Tommy has always been at the heart of the story, and now we’ll finally see how it all started.
