‘Making The Band’ Former Group Member Dylan Dilinjah Arrested And Charged With Assault!

Former reality television star of Diddy’s ‘Making The Band’ 2 series Dylan Dilinjah was arrested and charged recently following a physical altercation with another male!

The 45 year old was placed in handcuffs on Thursday (April 3rd) after slapping a man identified as Paul Joseph Galullo twice across his face during a scuffle in Wake County, North Carolina. According to an arrest warrant obtained by Hot New Hip Hop, police officials were called to the scene and arrested Dylan.

A police report obtained by the outlet details that Dylan intentionally slapped Paul twice in his face with an open hand.

Sources confirm that Dylan was taken to Apex Police Department where he was charged with a simple misdemeanor offense of assault. He is said to have been released on a $500 bond the same day of his arrest. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 1st.

It’s been quite some time since Dylan’s name has made major headlines. As a former member of Diddy’s Bad Boy record label as a Dancehall artist a part of his group ‘Da Band’, Dylan was often considered a controversial addition to the group following his epic arguments with fellow group members and producers.

However, he was recognized as key cast member on the reality series as some of his most memorable moments on the show were featured in a skit on ‘The Chapple Show.’

Despite viewers finding the skit widely hilarious, Dylan took an issue with it and later addressed how Dave’s comedic gesture affected his career in music.

“Any time I send my music to DJs, they say, ‘Oh, that’s the n***a that Dave Chappelle made fun of. Nah, I’m good on that,'”said Dylan in a 2024 interview.

“Not only that, but now, every promoter says, ‘Nah, we’re not booking him.’ So now I have a newborn, and the fridge is empty in 2005, and no one is calling me. Everyone is laughing. I’m legend now! But [back then] I’m f***ed up for what you just did. And you’re not answering the phone. At that time, no one picking up they phone. Not one label. And at that time, you had to sign to a record label, and I called all of them direct. And they said, ‘I can’t help you.’ That joke gone, boy, that joke took over. That joke burned [my career].”
