Cardi B and Tasha K have officially reached common ground after a nearly four-year legal battle in terms of a repayment plan!

Following Cardi’s four million dollar defamation judgment win, Tasha, born Latasha Kebe, has been ordered to pay the Bronx, New York rapper $1.2 million over the next five years in monthly installments.

According to Rolling Stone, the plan was approved by a judge on Monday ( February 24.)

As we previously reported Tasha filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 following her loss in court.

Sources state that Tasha’s monthly repayment to Cardi will begin at $176,523 in the first year and later increase to $318,653 by the fifth year over 12 months.

It has been indicated that the plan covers less than half of the full $4 million judgment, however, Cardi reserves the right to pursue the remaining balance once the five years is up—with the possibility that the Grammy award winner can garnish any of Tasha’s potential wages.

Legal documents confirm that the repayment plan is determined based on Tasha’s future earnings, as well as income from her husband Cheick Kebe’s company, Yelen Entertainment.

As part of the repayment plan Tasha has agreed to not make “derogatory, disparaging, or defamatory” comments about Cardi or any member of her family on any platform, this includes her podcasts and social media accounts, reports Complex.

Court documents obtained by Rolling Stone confirm that the agreement doesn’t ban Cardi from speaking on Tasha.

Today marks the end of a multi-year long chapter of lies, deception, and fraudulent conveyance on the part of Tasha K, her husband, and their entities,” says Cardi’s lawyer, Lisa Moore to Rolling Stone.

We are thrilled to put in place such an incredibly unprecedented and protective plan for Cardi. I assume you will see the debtor and her swill counsel selling this as a win,” she added. “Trust me, for all of the reasons in the plan we insisted on to protect our client, that is not the case. We don’t believe the false tears, and we protect against them.”

In 2019 Cardi, born Belcalis Almánzar, filed a libel and defamation lawsuit against Tasha after she issued claims of Cardi having herpes, using cocaine, and working as a prostitute.

During a 2022 trial, Cardi testified that she felt “extremely suicidal,” following Tasha’s circulated statements online. Cardi also expressed feeling like she couldn’t sleep with her husband Offset and that she didn’t “deserve” her daughter Kulture.
