Tiger Woods Shares News That His Mother Kultida Woods Has Passed Away, “She Was My Biggest Fan”

The legendary golfer took to his verified Instagram and Twitter (X) accounts earlier today to announce news of his mother’s passing in a heartwarming message.”It is with heartfelt sadness that I want to share that my dear mother, Kultida Woods, passed away early this morning.”

“My Mom was a force of nature all her own, her spirit was simply undeniable. She was quick with the needle and a laugh,” wrote Tiger.

“She was my biggest fan, greatest supporter, without her none of my personal achievements would have been possible. She was loved by so many, but especially by her two grandchildren, Sam and Charlie.”

“Thank you all for your support, prayers and privacy at this difficult time for me and my family. Love you Mom,” wrote Tiger.

Following News of Kultida’s passing, Trump also took to social media to pay his respects in a lengthy statement.

“I was just informed that Tiger Woods’ wonderful Mother, Kultida, passed away — She has gone onto greener fairways!” Trump’s wrote in a post. “Kultida Woods was an amazing influence on Tiger, and gave him much of his strength and brilliance. Melania and I send our love and prayers to Tiger and his incredible family!”

Trump previously honored Tiger with the Presidential Medal of Freedom during his first term.

According to reports from Fox News, Tiger is the only child that his parents Kultida and Earl Woods share together. Kultida is of Thai, Chinese and Dutch descent and Earl is African American. The two are said to have met while Earl was on tour of duty in the military while traveling in Thailand.
