Noir Nation! 50 Cent is sharing his personal take on the current legal handlings regarding Jay-Z’s immediate response to a recently filed civil suit against him and Diddy!
While appearing on iHeart’s ‘Big Boy’s Neighborhood’ radio show, 50 shared his belief that Jay’s statement was written by his legal team and not by him personally.
“There’s an accusation about Jay Z and Diddy and a teenager, 13 year old, right—and we were speaking about just the statement, right—-the statement you were saying, you felt like that was calculated?” asked Big Boy.
“—-you can tell it was written by a lawyer,” said 50. “There’s a point where it kind of gets aggressive. He’s like, he says, like, you’re gonna find out, like, like, how I’ll handle this. Like, and that’s an attorney want to be combative with another attorney. That’s not like, a publicist wouldn’t say this, right?”
Big Boy went on to ask about 50’s viral tweet in response to Jay’s legal trouble as he questioned if the upcoming Superbowl would somehow be affected by the series of accusations. “I’m just asking for a friend. Yeah, I’m asking for Kendrick. Trying to figure out.”
50 added that the NFL could potentially disassociate themselves from Jay due to the seriousness of the allegations. “They will fall back.”
Further, in conversation, Big Boy asked how does 50 not insert himself into all trending topics online but always finds a way to stay on top of things. The multi-media mogul responded that he was just being a part of the conversation like everyone else.
“I’m just watching. I’m being a part of the culture. I’m just telling my opinion,” said 50.
“I can’t say anything now,” he joked.
As we previously reported Jay-Z has been named in a federal civil suit alongside Diddy upon accusations of sexually assaulting a thirteen-year-old girl in 2000. According to People magazine, the suit was originally filed in October with only Diddy’s name mentioned along with “Celebrity A” and “Celebrity B,”.
However, it was recently amended to include the Roc Nation founder’s name.
In response Jay alongside his company of Roc Nation blasted attorney Tony Buzbee of attempting to blackmail him while denying all accusations.
“These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!!,” wrote Jay. “Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree?”
