UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thompson Fatally Shot In Midtown Manhattan; Law Enforcement State Incident Appears To Be A Targeted Shooting!

Noir Nation, an active investigation is currently underway following reports that the CEO of UnitedHealthcare was murdered in an incident officials believed to be a targeted shooting!

Brian Thompson has been walking towards the New York Hilton Hotel located in Midtown Manhattan early Wednesday morning around 6:45 AM wearing a suit and tie to attend a conference being held within the hotel’s ballroom, reports CNN.

According to the New York Post, CEO of UnitedHealthcare parent company, UnitedHealth Group Andrew Witty stated that the firm had been holding their Investor Day Conference at the hotel, which Brian was scheduled to attend.

Sources state that an unidentified gunman had been waiting within the area near 6th Avenue for some time before Brian’s arrival. Once spotted, the gunman opened fire roughly twenty feet from Brian striking him directly in the chest.

The 50 year old is said to have immediately collapsed onto the concrete and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead, confirms the NYPD.

Law enforcement has stated that the gunman fled the scene by foot running through Ziegfield alleyway before hopping onto a bike. The suspect is described as a white male wearing a cream colored jacket, grey backpack and a Black face mask paired with Black and white sneakers, reports the New York Post.

No further details have been issued at this time as officers continue to investigate.

The New York Post reports, the scheduled conference was called off due to a “very serious medical situation,’ regarding one of their team members.
