Drake Files Petition Against Universal Music Group And Spotify Upon Claims Of Boosting Kendrick Lamar’s Hit Song ‘Not Like Us’ With The Use Of A.I

Noir Nation! THE SAGA CONTINUES 🎻 A part of his ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar, Drake has decided to take legal action against Universal Music Group (UMG) alleging that the company conspired with Spotify to artificially increase the popularity of his 2024 anthem ‘Not Like Us’

According to reports from Billboard Drake’s Frozen Moments LLC issued a legal filing on Monday morning in New York City. The issued suit accuses UMG of initiating an illegal operation with the utilization of bots, payola, and other methods to boost the success of ‘Not Like Us’.

Sources state other streaming services have not been mentioned in the suit however the suit does claim, “UMG appears to have used similar tactics with other streaming services. On information and belief, UMG paid, or approved payments to, Apple Inc. to have its voice-activated digital assistant ‘Siri’ purposely misdirect users to ‘Not Like Us.’”
