Following an incident that left a Maryland Capitol police officer brutally beaten after attempting to save his wife from a hotel room where she was allegedly being held against her will; Trey Songz has been ordered to cough up 11 million dollars in damages!
According to court documents obtained by TMZ the 2021 incident occurred at the Cosmopolitan Hotel as Trey celebrated his 37th birthday. During his stay, it has been indicated that a group of women were escorted to his hotel room to meet him.
Officer Tyrelle Dunn states that his wife was amongst the women escorted to Trey’s room and that he had heard her scream for help as she was being kept against her will. Tyrell details that his wife was sexually assaulted by Trey and that he was attacked by his security guards as he attempted to save her.
In an issued lawsuit Tyrell states that he suffered two fractured eye sockets including injuries to his nose, face, ribs, stomach, ear, and head. He also forwarded graphic images of the injuries he sustained following the incident.
Though the Virginia native was cleared of any criminal wrong-doings in April 2022, reports read that a Las Vegas judge ruled in favor of the plaintiff after Trey failed to respond to Tyrelle’s complaint against him.
Tyrell will be awarded over ten million dollars to cover past medical expenses, past pain, suffering, and punitive damages.
